Apple boot camp 65/10/2023 That sounds like a bummer but it's also not that big of a loss, at least as far as support for the ARM version of Windows 10 is concerned. Microsoft currently has no plans to sell ARM versions of Windows 10 directly to customers. Although Microsoft makes an ARM-based version of Windows 10, the company currently only licenses it to OEMs to pre-install it on their devices. The second issue is with regards to Windows 10 itself. Apple demonstrated this during its WWDC keynote by running Debian 10 inside Parallels Desktop. Instead, the company expects users to run all alternate operating systems under virtualization. First of all, Apple seems to be deprecating Boot Camp entirely for its ARM-based Macs. Given the convenience of running Windows this way – no reboot required to switch operating systems – virtualization is increasingly the more logical technique.Apple has revealed that its ARM-based Macs, coming out later this year, will not support Boot Camp for booting into alternate operating systems such as Windows 10. Of course, none of these updates are necessary if you want to run Windows 7 using virtualization software such as VMware Fusion, Parallels Desktop, or VirtualBox. Apple doesn’t say exactly why, or what this update does, but it’s only 1.2 MB. Owners of iMac models with the Nvidia GeForce 7300 or 7600 GT graphics cards, or Mac Pro models with Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT or Quadro FX 4500 cards, must install the Graphics Firmware Update 1.0 (iMac and Mac Pro).More information regarding this update is available via Apple’s Web site. Users must download the update, copy it to an MS-DOS-formatted USB device, and insert that device into the computer’s USB slot before installing Windows 7. But note that installation is unusually tricky. The update is 104 MB, and is available either via Software Update or as a stand-alone download.
